How many of us look around at successful people and think their life is "now made?" I felt like this about author, investor and life-hacker Tim Ferriss. Tim Ferriss is someone that I admire because he has the courage to go out and experiment with the things that he enjoyed in life, and not settle with what was expected of him. However, until I learnt more about him, I never realised just how much he struggled with anxiety and pressure, and at one stage in his life he even contemplated suicide.

In this video he explains his revised evening routine, and how it now helps him to relax and cope with the stresses of his life. So even though his approach to experimenting and relaxing is quite functional, it's fascinating to see the routine he has created for himself.

Now, Mr Ferriss' routine may not work for you - the point is to experiment with what works for you, and then to create a structured routine for yourself, one that will give you stability. You will find most legends have a evening routine that helps them create that stability and stillness in their lives; it gives them a feeling of familiarity and stability that then optimises their life.
