In particular two events have created thousands of pages of headlines, namely Brexit and Donald Trump being elected as the next President of the United States. In particular, Brexit and the election of Donald Trump show us that the political and economic system is not working for many people who regard themselves as having missed out on the economic boom over the last 15 years. 2016 has also seen a number of legends pass, many before their time. This included David Bowie, Prince, Carrie Fisher and George Michael. They are gone but not forgotten.
