Jennifer Aniston's Intense Morning Meditation & Exercise Routine!

How Jennifer Aniston ensures she takes time for herself every morning to meditate and workout.

Actress Jennifer Aniston has an intense morning routine! Next to meditation, as a foundation for her well-being, she prioritises exercise to strengthen herself and increase her energy levels.

In an interview with Yahoo Beauty she said:

“[A while] ago I started doing TM [Transcendental Meditation] and that really changed everything. Starting your day off with that and ending with that is pretty powerful. Twenty minutes, you just notice the difference! When I get lazy and don’t get it in, I can feel a difference in the day. So I try to meditate first thing when I wake up.

Then I’ll do a workout of some sort. I have a trainer, a wonderful woman who I do this spin-yoga class [with]. We spin for half an hour and then do yoga for 40 minutes. That's pretty intense.

Then I go to a gym, where I do strength training or just my own thing on the treadmill, the bike, or the elliptical, just to change things up.”

It could be easy to assume that because Jennifer Aniston is a successful movie star, she can afford to have an amazing morning routine like this. However, the reality is that she has become a successful movie star because she developed the discipline to ensure she takes time for herself every day in the first place! While not everyone can have a personal trainer, everyone can take 5 minutes every day as Ms Aniston shares below:

Create Balance By Taking Time To Look After Yourself

“You have to think about the long run and bigger picture. We have a choice. We can be really good all the time and be around for a really long time. But it also feels good when you give yourself some breaks and self-tending.”

 

Accept That You're Not Perfect

Ms Aniston also reminds us to accept that we all have flaws and we all make mistakes. However, this is easier said than done especially for women, as she explains;

“I have a scar on my nose and that’s beautiful. The more we love what is natural and beautiful, the easier it is for us as women.”
