How Meditation Helps Gisele Bündchen Juggle Motherhood, Marriage & Modelling

How meditation helps you recharge and stay connected to yourself  - despite a busy life.

You may experience days in your life which are pretty packed and can feel overwhelming. This can affect your mood, your energy, you may feel tired and struggle to be there - even for the most important people in your life. Supermodel Gisele Bündchen can probably relate to having full on days, juggling motherhood, marriage and modelling. She is married to the famous American football player Tom Brady and they have two children.

To handle these different life situations, Ms Bündchen relies on breathing techniques and meditation ... to centre herself, to recharge and to get back control of her life;  she shared this on people.com.

“I noticed every time I felt overwhelmed I would hold my breath. I had to learn to stop, relax and take long deep breaths and within seconds I would feel more clear and ready to deal with the situation in a more loving way.”

“Meditation also has been a wonderful tool. I notice that when I don’t take the time to do it, I am not as centered, patient or clear.”

To Create Harmony At Home - Make Time For Yourself 

Ms Bündchen sees the importance of self-renewal and ensures she has time for herself daily.

“After adding everyone’s schedule on the calendar, I make sure that every day I have some sacred time for myself, so I can recharge.”

This helps her to be more patient to create the right environment at home.

“[As a mum], I had to learn to be more flexible and patient in order to create harmony in our home.”

Don't Forget To Have Fun 🙂

Next to dealing with the day-to-day activities - legends - by living in the moment, also create the space to have fun together with their families.

Gisele Bündchen shares:

“When I am doing activities with Tom or the kids, surfing, riding horses, kayaking or playing ball, I try to really be present and enjoy it. The quality of time I get to spend with my family is very important. That way I feel I am experiencing all the different aspects of my life without guilt.”

Legends like Gisele Bündchen know the importance of taking time for themselves - to meditate and to be more patient. This puts them into a great place to deal with life, even if it is busy. They make connecting with themselves a priority.

This is something we can all do in our lives and careers, even if it is just for 5 minutes in the morning or during our lunch time.
