Carl Sagan was an American astrophysicist and a great communicator of science throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In this captivating short video, he reminds us of the simple fact that although there are great problems that we face as a species on Earth at the moment, we have already come a very long way. There is still a future worth working towards when we are truly able to adapt and develop ourselves individually and collectively.

It’s incredible to put everything into such vast perspective and it makes me feel even more empowered to serve young people, enable them to grow, become leaders and help others and in turn create a sustainable community of people that are committed to positive change.

I get inspired to imagine when man started to land on other planets like lunar landing in 1969. Our forefathers used to worship of Moon and other planets. The Human quest to find more truth is taking us into deep knowledge and complexities and bringing new results, innovations, discoveries and inventions. I will be reaching a brighter future by achieving financial independence, contributing towards my personal development, building family greatness and loving mankind.

Fantastic. I appreciate the last words he says; ‘how many rivers we had to cross.’ For me that is all about the price that we pay every day, the work we put in and the efforts we take to be better, to be greater, to give and serve more. Thinking about future generations and my place in their lives grounds me and brings a lot of perspective. Whether that is considering young people and their futures, the future of our planet in decades or centuries to come or like this, knowing that others will be able to do things I can only dream of right now, but I play my part in securing their future.
