Many legends have shared the benefits of looking after their bodies and physical health through exercise, nutrition and getting the appropriate amount of rest. Quite simply if we do not look after our physical health, then the other areas of our life will suffer. We all know the consequences of not nurturing ourselves - we feel tired, drained, get sick and get frustrated quicker.
On the other side if we exercise, eat well and get the rest we need we feel more energised, alive, stay healthy and find it easier to remain patient. This is also scientifically proven - according to the NHS exercise alone can reduce our risk of major illnesses, such as heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and cancer by up to 50% and lower the risk of early death by up to 30%!!
